SCAM CALL: THINK. CHECK. BE SAFE.
Have you ever received a phone call from someone claiming to be from the police, a bank, or a court and telling you that immediate action is required?
Be cautious. Scam calls are often designed to create fear, panic, and urgency to pressure victims into making quick decisions.
Look out for these warning signs:
- 🚨 Demanding immediate action
- 💰 Asking for money or bank transfers
- 🔐 Requesting your OTP, password, or banking details
- 🔗 Asking you to click an unknown link
- ⚠️ Threatening or intimidating you
Remember: STOP. DON’T PANIC. VERIFY.
Do not share personal or banking information. End suspicious calls and verify the information through the organization’s official communication channels or contact numbers.
If you encounter a suspected scam, report it to the relevant authorities.
Stay alert. Stay safe. Together against scams.
