The Malaysian Book Award is a recognition given to works published in Malaysia in various categories that show high quality, works and publications.
Evaluation and selection of works is made directly by publishing companies registered with the Malaysian Book Publishers Association (MABOPA). MABOPA is an association established on 14 January 1969 with approximately 160 publishers who are registered and accepted as an important entity in the publishing industry in Malaysia.
