The Academic Support Services Department, operating under the Office of the Campus Director, plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning and enhancement of academic endeavors at IIUM Kuantan Campus. This department collaborates closely with kulliyahs and academic centers to meticulously plan, implement, and monitor academic policies and procedures. Through its comprehensive efforts, the department aims to uphold and elevate academic standards, fostering an environment conducive to educational excellence.

OBJECTIVES
Responsible on the academic matters for both students and academic staff
Planning of academic programme which will produce independent-minded students
Strengthen the academic policy of the university which include Sejahtera Academic
Framework and Micro Credential programme
Support the University in planning for the needs of academic staff by monitoring the
opportunity for promotion, mobility, training/development and appraisal of academic staff
Support the university to create conducive and harmonious learning environment capable
producing high-quality graduates
Coordinate with the kulliyyah/centre/institute on the physical implementation of the
increasing science-based programme thus increasing wealth generating programme
Coordinate with the Kulliyyah/centre/institute on the physical implementation of the
University’s towards postgraduate programmes
