NOTICE REGARDING STUDY FACILITIES FOR MALAYSIAN PREMIUM VISA PROGRAM (PVIP) PARTICIPANTS

With all due respect, I draw the attention of YBhg. Tan Sri/Dato’ Seri/Dato’/Datuk/Datin/Prof./Dr./Sir/Madam to the above.

 

 

2. For the information of YBhg. Tan Sri/Dato’ Seri/ Dato’/Datuk/Datin/Prof./Dr./Sir/Madam, the Malaysian Immigration Department (JIM) has launched a program with the concept of Residency Through Investment which is the Malaysia Premium Visa Program (PVIP) on 01 September 2022. PVIP Malaysia is a high-impact program to attract foreign investors and global tycoons with the ease of approval of passes for up to 20 years.

 

 

3. Through this program, participants will be given a number of benefits such as a pass approval period of up to 20 years, allowed to study and work, make investments and be eligible to withdraw a 50% ‘Fixed Deposit’ for education, health and property purchase purposes.

 

 

4. Accordingly, with the ease of study permission obtained through this program, there will be an application to study at a local Higher Education Institution (IPT) using the ‘Participant/Dependent of the Malaysia Premium Visa Program (PVIP)’ pass without changing to a student pass . An example of a PVIP pass sticker is as in APPENDIX A.

 

3. Therefore, YBhg. Tan Sri/Dato’ Seri/Dato’/Datuk/Datin/Prof./Dr./Sir/Madam are requested to take appropriate action regarding this matter. YBhg. Tan Sri/Dato’ Seri/Dato’/Datuk/Datin/Prof./Dr./Mr/Madam can contact the PVIP unit via pvip@imi.gov.my if there are any further questions regarding this matter.
