Taktim 2026 Workshop
On 9th April 2026, OSIT had organised a 1 day workshop or IIUM 2026 Takrim awards. All related agencies that shall give award for this year’s Takrim were invited. These include MSD, RMC, Finance, OCAP, STADD and many others.
The workshop was held at CIE-CIMB Bank i-Taajir Entrepreneurship Lab, Kulliyyah of Economics and Management Sciences (KENMS).
Each agency present their list of awards, their criteria and judging method. After the presentation, the Takrim secretariat requested more detailed, provide inputs or offered suggestions. Base on that, the agency shall provided amended award list for finalisation.
After the presentations were concluded the secretariat presented the wraping up sessions. OSIT Principal Director, Prof. Dr. Shukran Abd. Rahman and OSIT Director, Prof. Ts. Dr. Mira Kartiwi, presented.
The Honourable Rector, Prof. Emeritus Datuk Dr. Osman Bakar graciously close the workshop.
Workshop on Data Management

A workshop on Data Management for the purpose of submitting data to Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE)’s SETARA system was held at KENMS. It was attended by representatives from several offices such as ITD, AMAD, CPS and others.
The workshop was also attended by the Deputy Rector of Academic and Internationalisation, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Ahmad Faris Ismail.
Workshop on the Application of Tawhidic Epistemology in IIUM Strategic Initiatives

During the “Workshop on the Application of Tawhidic Epistemology in IIUM Strategic Initiatives”, the Honourable Rector of IIUM, Prof. Emeritus Datuk Dr. Osman Bakar, delivered a special address. The session provided deep insights into the transformation of IIUM Kuantan campus to World Centre for Natural and Health Sciences (CNHS) through Tawhidic Epistemology.
The session continued with Forum 1, diving into the “Application of Tawhidic Epistemology in IIUM Strategic Thrusts.” It was moderated by the Campus Director, Prof. Dr. Jamaludin Ab. Rahman, together with the panelist Prof. Dato’ Dr. Ahmad Faris Ismail (DRAI), Prof. Dr. Mohamed Aslam Mohamed Haneef (DRRIDE) and Madam Zuraida Hassan (ED MSD.
