Kulliyyah of Medicine has announced the launch of Virtual Reality (VR) suite, an innovative extension of the Clinical Skills Centre. This advanced facility is set to revolutionize medical education for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.

The VR suite offers a unique, simulation-based learning environment, equipped with a range of pre-programmed acute and life threatening clinical scenarios. These simulations provide invaluable hands-on experience that students may not otherwise encounter.

In addition to these immersive scenarios, the suite also offers comprehensive programs for mastering common clinical skills, such as history taking and basic clinical procedures, all conducted in a virtual setting. The VR suite is designed to provide a safe and controlled teaching and learning ecosystem, preparing students for real-world patient interactions.

This pioneering project is a collaborative effort with G Plus Global Sdn. Bhd., a local company specializing in VR technology. The company will supply the specialized equipment necessary to bring this virtual reality suite to life.

The VR suite is slated for installation at the CSC, located on level 4 of the Kulliyyah of Medicine.This marks a significant step forward in the integration of technology in medical education, setting a new standard for immersive learning experiences.
