After making renewal application when can I submit my passport to get the student pass? 

You can submit your passport with the require document after reach 90% at EMGS Tracking system

My status on EMGS already reach 100% can I collect the passport?

100% status on EMGS means that the process with EMGS already complete but student need to wait until receive email from visaunit@live.iium.edu.my to collect the passport
Once student receive email to collect passport from visa unit means all process for renewal student pass has been complete

When can I collect my i-kad?

Student can collect the i-kad one month after the student receive the passport
Student also can open ticket through https://io-iium.my/ to ask regarding the status of i-kad

I want to continue my study from Bachelor to Master / Master to PhD but I don’t want to leave Malaysia, what should I do?

Student who wants to continue study can do progression. For student doing progression, student need to have at least minimum 3 month of visa validity because Visa Approval Letter (VAL) process take minimum 6 weeks / 2 month to complete without any additional document.

My VAL have been approved by the Immigration. Can I come to Malaysia immediately?

Student that VAL have been approved need to know the date for registration with AMAD/CPS.
Student can enter Malaysia after the student get matriculate.

I have 2 citizenships meaning that I have 2 passports. Can I do the renewal using my other passport?

Student can only proceed for renewal with the passport number that already been registered at Visa Approval Letter (VAL).

I already make application for progression. do I need to leave the country?

If during the application VAL, student get notification from the Immigration state that student need to submit Exit stamp in order to resume the process, then student need to leave the country and email the exit stamp to visaunit@live.iium.edu.my.

My visa will be expired soon but right now I in process to get my extension. Do I need to do renewal first without my new expected to graduate or do I need to wait for my extension to be issued first?

Student need to know when will the extension will be issued. If the extension issued after student pass expired, student is advised to return to home country to avoid Overstay and make application renewal after the extension has been issued.

I am new student, I already make payment because I choose payment through institution what should I do next?

Student need to email the proof of payment to visaunit@live.iium.edu.my , if after 5 to 7 working days there no update student can open ticket at https://io-iium.my/ to ask regarding approval of the payment.
